Trip to Seattle

On President's Day, Daddy had the day off work, so we took a trip into Seattle. We went to the Children's Museum and had lunch with Aunt Angela.

JD remembers Jonah and decides to stay on the outside of the whale.

At the children's museum, they had a tribute to Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. While the Kids didn't quite get it, it was pretty cool for Mommy and Daddy.

Post Holi-Daze

THings are settling down here at the Enfield Ranch. Our Resolution for the New Year? Get pictures on the Blog more often! Hope you had a very merry Christmas and that a you will have Great New Year.

The day after Christmas, Bekah got her first bottle. It was received with mixed reviews.

Bethany shows Rebekah how to work her bouncer. Bekah seems skeptical of her advice.

Bekah is overcome with fear as she thinks about when her parents will pull out this photo during her teenage years.

Bethany and Paige love to dress up. "So many dresses, so few prince charmings."

That is the LAST time we ask Bethany to sweep up for us.

Christmas 2005

Christmas morning was a fun time for everyone to open presents and just have fun. Everybody got what they wanted and luckily, it wasn't too early.

A Barbie Magical Pegasus Doll! Thank Grandma Arizona!

Buzz Lightyear, Space Ranger. "To the Enfields House and BEYOND!"

Santa brought my Cinderella's talking kitchen! It must have been the cookies I frosted myself.

This kitchen is a little less magical, but thanks to Aunt Ang, daddy can cook 8 pancakes at once.

Bekah's Christmas wish for everyone, "Fight the Power".

Christmas Eve

Up on the rooftop click, click, click...

Bethany and JD put out some food for Santa's Reindeer.

Apparently there's 8 of them, so they put out a lot of Food!

Bethany gets a snack ready for Santa.

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring....

...except the baby who was up every 2 hours to eat.

Christmas Cookies

Everyone loves Cristmas Cookies and the kids do them right!

Hansel and Gretel eat your hearts out!

Mom, are you sure I don't need ANY more frosting?

REALLY! I did the gingerbread house all by MYSELF!

Bethany and Jordan load up on frosting... some even gets on the cookies.

JD finds and early Christmas Present... An Empty Box!

Jingle All the Way

The holidays are getting Closer!

Papa tells Bekah all about her brother and sister.

Is that a reindeer in the family room?

Angelas tells her nieces about the enjoyment of finer living.

Bethay takes her advice to heart and jumps in for her first pedicure.

Bekah can only dream about her first pedicure, but it still brings a smile to her face.

Nutckracker and More

Bethany went to the Nutcracker with her Aunt Ang on Dec 17th. She said it was "great" and the king of mice was scary. She can't wait to try out herself!

Bethany on stage at the Nutcracker! She's ready for spotlight.

The Nutcracker was so much fun Bethany could hardly contain herself.

Bekah chillin out on the Floor.

JD really enjoys his favorite footstool.

Bethany is ready for a little jogging and JD looks like he has an Idea.

Winter Time in Washington

The temperature around here have been COLD. It hasn't gotten much above freezing at all this week. Very cold, even this time of year. There's a chance early next week we'll get some more snow, which has the the romantics (like Christina and Angela) dreaming of a white Christmas. If we do have a holiday that Bing Crosby could dream about, you'll hear about it first here - on the Enfield Family Blog.

Daddy and the girls spend some time hanging out before bedtime.
Bethany loves to help out mommy, but Bekah's not to sure about this "water" stuff.
Bekah looks at Bethany and says, "HEY! You gonna use that washcloth or what?"
The first sign of the holiday season is the first sighting of the traditional Santa Baby.
For some reason, Bethany and JD like to wake up before 6am. I guess its nice to get a jump on breakfast.

Moms Club Christmas Party

Christina is part of a stay-at-home moms group that has a yearly Christmas party. This year they met in Roy, WA. Check out the festivities!

Bethany and JD (back to the camera) are right in the middle of the gift giving.
Derek hands out his present has the kids anxiously wait.
Bethany is not afraid of being vocal about what she wants.
All the kids look to see if they are going to get a Video IPOD.

JD is off to remind mommy that there are presents underneath the tree!

Sleigh Bells ring, Are you listenin'?

We've got some new clothes and a house full of decorations! Really a fun time for the kiddos.

Mommy and Bekah get ready to go to our first Christmas party. Mommy and Daddy can't wait to show off their new little girl.
Bethany is trying to remember what to tell Santa that she wants for Christmas and Bekah can't decide.
Rebekah decides to help out the family with some seasonal employment as Santa's Helper.
In a new outfit from Grandpa Mark, JD is ready for a cup of hot chocolate at the ski lodge.
Bethany is also wearing Grandpa Mark's new outfit and showing off the tree that she helped decorate.

On the Home Front

Everybody in the family has been feeling a little under the weather. So for the last day or two, we've just been sticking around the house and getting better.

Bethany loves her sister, Bekah, SOOO Much!
Rebekah dreams of sugarplums doing a waltz.
Angela is soothed to sleep by her niece.
Life is so hard for a two-week-old. It will wear you out.
